This is a classic example of when execution should be applied swiftly. No reason to prepare for a year before trial. No need for a long trial. Appeals would be useless. Don't let him sit on death row for 15 years. Do the DNA test. A quick trial. Then a bullet to the head.

Well....you've got to make sure you have the right person first. Once you do, I don't care what you do with him. This is an animal that doesn't belong in society where he could possibly hurt other innocents. Kill him or keep him locked up until death claims him naturally but don't every think he will be reformed. Just get rid of him. (and if he happens to suffer physically or mentally along the way, so be it.)
