What is the purpose of selling a machine gun to a regular Joe if it isn't for one reason only.

Figure it out.

Guns are in America and aren't going away. Even the Clinton assault weapon ban didn't stop them, it just made gun manufacturers change the style and look of weapons.

To add to that you have a gun control person who has no understanding of the mechanics of a gun so to them, a gun that fires the same round yet looks different is a different weapon and more safe. Plus, different state laws which means you can buy a gun in Virginia and drive to DC and shoot that place up even with the strict laws.

Life is not fair, not only a bitch

Obama has armed guards. So does Clinton.

Why should Obama and Clinton have that right, but not the average American citizen?

A resident in a poor neighbourhood in Chicago is in more danger than Obama, sitting in the White House.

I'd like to know where she got such fast service? It took much longer for me when I bought a gun.

She talks about "If it was harder to buy a gun....blah blah blah". Drugs are illegal.....does that stop anyone from getting them? Are they all that difficult to get? Prostitution is illegal.....is it hard to find one? The logic of these arguments is so childish.

Do you guys understand much about "assault weapons"? Are they that different than hunting rifles or some hand guns? Do you think this guy would've done any less damage had he been carrying a pair of semi-auto hand guns with 17 round magazines in each and several more magazines in his pockets? What if he'd constructed some other kind of weapon like a bomb or Molotov cocktail?

You could ban every single kind of firearm and there would still be mass shootings. The only difference is that law-abiding citizens would be unarmed. I believe France had a weapons ban when Charlie Hebdo was attacked. That didn't stop anything. The club in Orlando was a weapon free zone....that didn't stop the guy but it did stop anyone else from having weapons in the club. Weapons that may have stopped the attack much sooner and mayber there would be fewer deaths.

I just don't see how you guys here, who in particular are taking part in what is sort of an illegal activity, think that a ban will fix anything? Did C-36 stop any of you guys from seeing escorts?

It took me a long time to get prescription heroine from the U.S., but I put in the time and effort to do so because I don't like buying 'street-level' drugs - they are never uncontaminated.

Numerous prostitutes have asked me to supply them with drugs, but I never have. Don't want to get involved in that sort of thing. Prostitutes have big mouths and nothing you tell them stays secret for longer than a few days.

It's part of the price of freedom. I could guarantee you a utopian society....but it would require that you do exactly what you are told every minute of every day.

Free speech comes with the possibility that you are going to have to hear things you don't like.

Free religion comes with the possibility that others are going to behave in ways you don't like (but don't directly affect you).

Free press comes with the possibility that you are going to have to hear about things you don't like or that people will dig into your background for news.
