The truth is that there is not a perfect formula, that fits everyone when we are talking about the ways you can keep yourself in shape. However, I would strongly recommend you to try to eat only healthy food, as a slim figure, always begins with a correct diet. Also, I practice yoga, but beyond the fact that yoga is very helpful for maintaining yourself in shape, it is also useful for revealing pain. I had chronic knee pain, but after starting to practice yoga, by following this guide Practice These 10 Yoga Poses for Tight Hamstrings & to Gain Flexibility, the pain disappeared totally.
